Scattered severe thunderstorms produced widespread hail and wind damage across the area. The O.H. Ivie reservoir area was particularly hard hit, with wind gusts up to 65 mph and half dollar size hail damaging boats at a local marina. Other hail reports across the area ranged from dime to golf ball size.
