Severe thunderstorm winds caused damage across Madison county. Many trees were blown down. One fell onto a warehouse in Diamond Hill causing damage. A large oak tree fell onto a trailer in the Newtown community and destroyed it. Several chicken houses in the Newtown community were destroyed or damaged. The Danielsville sheriff's office reported power lines down.
