A line of severe thunderstorms produced scattered pockets of wind damage throughout Northampton County. Downed trees were reported in Bath, Easton, Nazareth and Upper Mount Bethel. Pennsylvania State Route 611 was closed until 930 p.m. EDT in Easton because of downed trees blocking the roadway. Between the damaging winds and intense lightning, about 4,000 homes and businesses lost power in the county.
