Damaging Wind in Pennsylvania, June 30, 1998
Although the thunderstorms dissipated, the gust front the squall line created farther west in Pennsylvania moved through extreme southern Bucks County and produced scattered pockets of wind damage (downed trees and wires) in Langhorne and Bristol and Middletown Townships. A Bristol Township man was injured when a tree fell on his car.

Although the thunderstorms dissipated, the gust front the squall line created farther west in Pennsylvania moved through extreme southern Bucks County and produced scattered pockets of wind damage (downed trees and wires) in Langhorne and Bristol and Middletown Townships. A Bristol Township man was injured when a tree fell on his car. In Langhorne, a fallen tree damaged a fence and in Middletown Township, a fallen tree flattened a shed and ripped the siding from a house. PECO energy reported about 185,000 homes and businesses in their service area lost power, 15,000 of them in Lower Bucks County. Power was restored to everyone midday on Thursday July 2nd.
