A severe thunderstorm pulled down wires in and around Doylestown and also produced numerous reports of pea to marble size hail in central Montgomery County and central and northern Bucks County. PECO Energy reported 33,000 customers lost power due to the lightning and high winds throughout their service area in Southeast Pennsylvania on the 1st.

PECO Energy reported 33,000 customers lost power due to the lightning and high winds throughout their service area in Southeast Pennsylvania on the 1st. As of 11 p.m. EST, the greatest number of remaining outages (3,700) were in Bucks County.
