A severe thunderstorm caused wind damage in Caernarvon Township mainly in and around the Morgantown Airport. The winds snapped the ropes tied to the wings of a Cessna plane and moved it eight feet. The thunderstorm winds also ripped the aluminum trim from the roof of a building at the sewage treatment plant, tossed three 150 pound railroad ties, shattered the windows of one car and overturned a large doghouse. No injuries were reported.
