More than an inch of rain overwhelmed the storm drain system in Redmond. This caused parking lots to fill up and streets to flood. City workers used pumps and sandbags to ease some of the flooding problems. All the water in the storm drain system overloaded the city sewer treatment plant and a ditch near the plant overflowed.
