December began with a powerful Pacific storm delivering high winds to the North and Central Oregon Coast. On the North Coast, Cannon Beach reported sustained winds 45 to 55 mph gusting to 68 mph while Seaside reported a gust to 62 mph.

December began with a powerful Pacific storm delivering high winds to the North and Central Oregon Coast. On the North Coast, Cannon Beach reported sustained winds 45 to 55 mph gusting to 68 mph while Seaside reported a gust to 62 mph. On the Central Coast, Netarts had winds 45 mph gusting to 70 mph, Sea Lion Caves 58 gusting to 68 mph, and Newport 44 gusting to 66 mph. Strongest winds were mid morning through the afternoon of the 1st.
