Summary of events of February 25, 1998:Severe thunderstorms developed along a cold front and moved across south-central and southeastern Oklahoma during the late afternoon and early evening hours of the 25th. Numerous reports of 3/4-inch to nickel-sized hail were received. An isolated report of golf ball hail came from Stonewall in Pontotoc County. In Mannsville (Johnston County) severe thunderstorm winds unroofed a barn. See preceding individual Storm Data entries for further information and additional reports.
