A line of thunderstorms, some containing dime to nickel-sized hail, and strong thunderstorm winds, developed over southeast and eastcentral Oklahoma on the evening of Feb. 25. Most severe reports came from southeast Oklahoma between 7:00 and 9:00 pm, although an isolated severe thunderstorm with nickel hail occurred shortly before 11:00 pm near Muse in Leflore County.The thunderstorms formed in an unseasonably warm and moist air mass along a pre-frontal trough as an upper level disturbance in southwest flow aloft passed overhead.
