A line of severe thunderstorms plowed across northern sections of the county late in the evening. Several trees and power lines were downed in a corridor from Camden eastward to Ava around and just after 1000 pm EDT.
The southern tail end of a line of thunderstorms that produced wind damage upstream to the northwest also produced isolated wind damage in the far northern portions of Otsego county late in the evening. Strong winds damaged a door and blew in part of a small wall at a house along route 20 in Springfield Township around 1110 pm EDT. Only a short time later, the roof was blown off of a trailer in East Springfield.
