An area of low pressure moved across southern Canada. During the afternoon, the associated cold front extended across northern portions of New York and Vermont. Thunderstorms developed along and ahead of the front. Specifically, in St Lawrence county, strong winds blew trees and power lines down in Red Mills with windows damaged in structures. In Lisbon, numerous trees and power lines were blown down with some damage to structures.
