The gust front associated with the severe thunderstorms that developed over Southeast Pennsylvania swept across Burlington County between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EDT. The thunderstorms dissipated over Pennsylvania and the gust front weakened as it moved across the county. Nevertheless some trees and wires were knocked down in the county, mainly in the northern sections bordering Mercer and Monmouth Counties. Trees were also uprooted on McGuire Air Force Base. About 3,000 homes and businesses lost power.
