A squall line of severe thunderstorms produced scattered pockets of wind damage (downed trees and wires) throughout northwest New Jersey in Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties. About 42,000 homes and businesses lost power in GPU's service area which includes all of northwest New Jersey.
