The snowfall accumulation season of 1997-98 (which ran from July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998) was one of the least snowiest seasons on record in central and southern New Jersey. It was the second least snowiest season on record with only 0.8 inches falling at Philadelphia International Airport and 7.2 inches falling at the Lehigh Valley International Airport.
