Thunderstorm winds blew windows out of a store and overturned mobile homes. A post-storm survey conducted by local emergency managers indicated a microburst was the likely cause of the damage. The damage path was about half a mile long and 1.5 miles wide, centered half a mile east of Flatwoods. The damage path was oriented from south to north, and included numerous downed trees and power lines. A roof was blown off a mobile home.
