Rain overspread the Maryland Eastern Shore during the late morning on the 8th preceding a low pressure system's warm front. The heaviest rain fell during the afternoon on the 8th with another burst of heavy rain before it ended the morning of the 9th. Storm totals averaged between 1.5 and 2.0 inches. This caused some poor drainage flooding, but was not heavy enough to push any major streams or rivers over bankfull. Storm precipitation totals included 2.00 inches in Salisbury, 1.75 inches in Conowingo, 1.70 inches at the Baltimore International Airport and 1.50 inches in Federalsburg.
