Severe thunderstorms rocked Talbot County during the evening of the 16th. Large trees were knocked down in Easton, Idlewild Park, Royal Oak and Trappe. A vehicle was hit by limbs near Easton. U.S. Route 50 was blocked near Trappe by downed trees. A large tree blocked a road leading to the Easton Municipal Airport. About 1,260 homes and businesses lost power with numerous outages reported in the south side of Easton.
