A severe thunderstorm knocked down several trees in Fair Hill. The same thunderstorm produced power outages in Elkton. The severe thunderstorm struck around the same location in Fair Hill that experienced a tornado on May 25, 1997. One person who suffered wind damage during that tornado lost an additional four trees during this severe thunderstorm.
