2 to 4 inches of rain fell over a large area of south central Kentucky in a 1 to 3 hour period. Grounds were already saturated from heavy rainfall during the previous week. This caused widespread flash flooding. State police reported numerous roads closed across these counties in addition to one man rescued in his car.
