A ten mile wide band of slow moving thunderstorms dumped 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain over central and southern sections of Washington County. West of Crawfordsville, near the junction of the east and west branches of Crooked Creek, rainfall was estimated at 3 inches. Streets and ditches in and around the city of Washington were flooded.
