The West Fork of the Whitewater River came out of its banks at both Alpine and downstream from Brookville. At Alpine, the river reached a crest of 15.2 feet on the 11th at 500 PM EST. Low-lying areas and some county roads near Alpine and Nulltown were flooded. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. At Brookville, the river reached a crest of 16.1 feet around 1100 PM EST on the 12th. Some recreational areas were flooded near Cedar Grove and New Trenton and some low land flooding occurred near West Harrison. Official flood stage is 20.0 feet at Brookville, but areas downstream of Brookville experience flooding above 14.0 feet.
