Thunderstorm wind gusts downed trees and utility lines across the east central part of the county. 6 power pole were downed on the south side of Pittsfield. A few fences were damaged and a few homes sustained minor damage from broken limbs. In Detroit, a car was destroyed by a fallen tree. In Griggsville, a home sustained moderate damage from a fire started by a lightning strike. Two firemen suffered minor injuries fighting the fire when a ceiling collapsed.
