As a severe thunderstorm moved through Effingham county, numerous trees were blown down, some of which fell across roadways in the area. Also, one tree fell onto an unoccupied mobile home in Effingham causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported and no damage estimate was available.
Thunderstorm winds blew down several power lines 1 mile west of Olney.
As a severe thunderstorm moved through the St. Francisville area, the winds blew the roofs off of several hangers at the local airport. No injuries were reported and no damage estimate was available.
