Moisture rotating around a low pressure system over Utah encountered a surface disturbance over south central Idaho during the night of March 29th and the morning of March 30th. Local heavy snow fell over the Magic Valley and the surrounding highlands. Pomerelle received 12 inches, Castleford 11 inches with 8 inches at Filer and 7 inches at Jerome.
