Two to four inches of heavy rain fell in less than two hours and caused localized flooding of low lying areas between Interstate 75 and U.S. Highway 41 from Punta Gorda to Port Charlotte. A few vehicles and homes incurred water damage in low lying areas of Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.
