Two-thirds to three-quarters of an inch of rain fell primarily within a 30 minute period in the Durango area. This resulted in street flooding and rock slides. A two-foot diameter boulder smashed the front of a van near the intersection of State Highway 3 and U.S. Highway 160 in the south part of Durango.
