Lightning Strike in Colorado, July 4, 1998
Lightning struck a telephone junction box and traveled through the phone lines into two residences, destroying the phones and scorching the interior walls near the phones. One person in each residence was knocked down by the lightning strike, each receiving only very minor injuries.
