A band of snow showers developed across the east slopes of the Wet Mountains and Southern Sangre De Cristo Mountains the night of the 7th. The snow showers persisted into the morning of the 8th, producing total snowfall amounts of 6 inches in Wetmore in Custer county, 6 to 12 inches in Beulah in Pueblo county, 9 inches in Walsenburg in Huerfano county, and 10 inches in Rye in Pueblo county.
