A winter storm system moved northeast through western Pennsylvania and brought a wintry mix of precipitation to the mountains of northern West Virginia. In Kingwood, Preston County, between 0.25 and 0.50 inches of freezing rain accumulated on area roads. In Canaan Valley, Tucker County, 0.25 inches of freezing rain fell, in addition to as much as 2 inches of sleet and snow.
