A severe thunderstorm moved through the town of Yost in extreme northwest Box Elder county. Hailstones as large as 1 3/4" in diameter pelted the area. Damage occurred to vehicles as well as to the roofs and siding of several homes. Grain fields and strawberry patches in the area were completely destroyed.
