Thunderstorm winds caused tree and power line damage with resulting power outages of about two hours. The winds also destroyed a storage shed, blew the roof off another large storage shed, and caused minor structural damage to buildings.

The winds also destroyed a storage shed, blew the roof off another large storage shed, and caused minor structural damage to buildings. Most of the damage occurred in the southeast part of the city of Yankton.
