Strong thunderstorms with torrential rains were detected by the doppler radar from Adjuntas west to Lares. The river Rio Arecibo rain gauge in Adjuntas recorded in excess of five inches of rain and the Civil Defense office in Adjuntas recorded 5.82 inches.
