A winter storm system moved northeast across western Pennsylvania and brought a wintry mix of precipitation. The heaviest precipitation was confined to the northern mountains of West Virginia and to Garrett County, Maryland, however, Washington county reported a quarter of an inch accumulation of freezing rain on top of a couple of inches of snow and sleet.
