Persistent heavy rainfall across West-Central Ohio brought area rivers, including the Blanchard, Maumee, Auglaize, and St. Mary's rivers, out of their banks. The Blanchard river at Ottawa reached a peak of 26.5 feet on the 28th, which caused flooding of farmland and several city streets. Flood stage is 23.0 feet. The flooding continued into early March.
