Strong thunderstorms produced heavy rains across New Hanover and Pender counties between 1500 EST and 1715 EST resulting in numerous reports of flooding. In New Hanover County, flooding was reported on Market Street and at the intersection of Peachtree and College Ave.

Strong thunderstorms produced heavy rains across New Hanover and Pender counties between 1500 EST and 1715 EST resulting in numerous reports of flooding. In New Hanover County, flooding was reported on Market Street and at the intersection of Peachtree and College Ave. In Pender County most of the flooding was in the Penderlea community along Highway 11.
