A 25 foot boat capsized less than 1 mile east of Breezy Point in Rockaway Inlet (Queens). The Ambrose Light Tower Bouy reported wind speeds from 20 to 25 knots and areas of fog occurred. The local USCG Staff rescued 4 fisherman.A small boat capsized near the New Rochelle (Westchester County) coast. The Ambrose Light Tower Bouy reported wind gusts from 35 to 40 knots associated with a line of heavy showers around the time of the accident. One man died and one man was seriously injured.
