Thunderstorm Wind, Oneida

When: May 9, 1:00 PM EST to 1:05 PM EST
Where: Oneida County, Floyd to Westernville
Property damage: $50,000
Coordinates: 43.220, -75.350

A thunderstorm quickly became severe over northeastern portions of the county. Widespread wind damage occurred in the Floyd/Westernville/Delta Lake areas around and shortly after 200 pm EDT. Large trees were uprooted and power lines were toppled in the town of Floyd. In Westernville, more trees were blown down. Near Delta Lake, several trailers and mobile homes were blown off their anchors and severely damaged.
