A severe thunderstorm developed over southeastern portions of Steuben county and produced large hail. Dime sized hail was reported in Addison and one inch diameter hail covered roadways in the town of Tuscarora.
A thunderstorm briefly intensified to severe levels over central portions of Steuben county. The storm produced hail the size of golf balls in Bath.
A thunderstorm pulsed to severe levels over extreme southern Cayuga county. A few trees and power lines were blown down in the town of Genoa before the cell weakened.
