The same severe thunderstorm that caused wind damage in Delaware County and Philadelphia also produced some wind damage in Woodbury. The worst damage occurred on North Evergreen Street as six large trees were either snapped or uprooted.

The same severe thunderstorm that caused wind damage in Delaware County and Philadelphia also produced some wind damage in Woodbury. The worst damage occurred on North Evergreen Street as six large trees were either snapped or uprooted. An apartment building on the street was struck by two trees. A recently bought house sustained moderate damage as a 50 foot tall twin trunk tree became embedded in its dormer window. Damage to the home was estimated at $50,000. Trees and wires were also reported down on five other blocks in Woodbury, but the damage was not as severe. No injuries were reported.
