A cluster of thunderstorms dumped rains of 3 to 8 inches in a short period of time in Dodge county. This caused lowland rural flooding along the Maple Creek and county road damages from the smaller feeder streams in the same basin. This same storm dumped 3 to 5 inches of rain in the Papillion Creek Basin in and near Omaha causing numerous pockets of urban flooding and closing streets in several locations in Douglas county and within the Omaha city limits.
