Damaging Wind in Missouri, June 16, 1997
Strong winds along the leading edge of thunderstorms flipped an empty trailer on its side in the Wal-Mart parking lot and damaged the store's greenhouse. Winds also blew down limbs up to eight inches in diameter causing some minor roof damage to homes.

Strong winds along the leading edge of thunderstorms flipped an empty trailer on its side in the Wal-Mart parking lot and damaged the store's greenhouse. Winds also blew down limbs up to eight inches in diameter causing some minor roof damage to homes. In addition, a commercial greenhouse two miles west of town sustained minor damage.
