Where: Stoddard County, Puxico
Property damage: $250,000
Coordinates: 36.856, -89.944 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Thunderstorms dumped an estimated 3 to 4 inches of rain. About 15 businesses were flooded by up to a foot of water. The sheriff department rescued a U.S. Postal Service worker who was trapped by high water. Several inches of water got into the town's bank and IGA supermarket. The flash flooding also washed out a bridge on a county road.
