This second round of flash flooding was somewhat more serious than the flooding the previous evening. Thunderstorms during the morning produced another 2 to 4 inches of rain, which boosted rainfall totals to near 6 inches locally. The third and most serious round of flooding occurred later in the day, when another 1 or 3 inches of rain fell in a short period of time.
