A microburst with wind gusts estimated near 90 MPH blew down hundreds of trees. No injuries or deaths were reported, but a dog was found dead after the storm. A farmer lost 60 acres of soybeans to wind-driven hail. The local utility company estimated between ten and twenty utility poles were destroyed. About 5,000 homes lost power in the storm. One house lost a roof. A double wide trailer blew up against another one, and a third trailer was knocked off its foundation.
