Two separate fires were reported, one at 1:59 and one at 2:17 local times. Both fires were the result of lightning strikes. The first was a house fire which caused minor damage to the attic area of the home. The second was at a day care center where the roof was hit. By the time fire fighters arrived on the scene the entire side of the building was engulfed. The structure ended up being a total loss.
