Numerous large trees and power lines were downed in the Twiggs Corner and Hip Pocket Road areas of Peachtree City. Some trees were pushed over while others were snapped off several feet above ground. Several homes were damaged by falling trees. Power outages also resulted. Other trees were blown down on the east side of town in the Robinson Road area.
