Lightning was blamed for a house fire along Santa Rosa Sound in the Navarre area. Lightning evidently hit near a utility room. A fire started in the utility room and spread up along a wall onto a portion of the roof. It took firefighters almost an hour to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
