Heavy surf pounded the Southern California coast. The largest surf...breakers 10 to 15 feet...affected the coasts of San Luis Obispo and western Santa Barbara counties. Elsewhere, coastal stations reported 6 to 8 foot surf with local breakers as large as 10 feet.
