Sections of SH 177 were washed out and other roads in the south part of the county were impassable from the early evening hours into the early morning hours because of high water. WSR-88D estimated that 8 to 10 inches of rain fell in this area from late afternoon through the early morning hours. Most of the rain fell during the evening hours.
